Fit Trips

While only world-class surfers can participate in the Beachley Classic, October 8-14, at Manly Beach in New South Wales, anyone can appreciate the action, as the world’s 17 top-ranked female surfers, including Australia’s own World Champion Layne Beachley, carve up the breaks and compete for a US$100,000 purse. Spectators are sure to get their hearts racing at the sight of the bronzed, bikini-clad surfers, but those who want to get the blood pumping further can sign up for the Athletics & Radical Fitness Boot Camp on October 13. The Classic ends on October 14 when five teams of celebrities ride the waves to raise money for charity in the Lifestyle Working Celebrity Challenge.
