Fresh Tracks | The latest tunes worth checking out

Every Monday we take a look across the musical landscape and cast our eye over the new arrivals. The freshest tracks and videos that have recently landed. This week’s there’s a lot of new music – so it’s our biggest edition ever.

This week we check out new offerings from Erasure, Jackson Chant featuring David Archuleta, Keyside, Kaiyah Mercedes, and Helen Shanahan.

Erasure – Wings of Love

Erasure have released Wings of Love from their upcoming 20th album which will arrive in late March 2027. The album sees Andy Bell and Vince Clarke continue their creative partnership that has spanned 40 years. The band will also be heading off on tour but Vince Clarke has revealed he’ll no longer be going on the road.

Jackson Chant featuring David Archuleta – U Can’t Touch

Jackson Chant is an independent artist from Los Angeles and he’s teamed up with David Archuleta of American Idol fame.

Keyside – Heaven

A perfect piece of indie jangle-pop from British band Keyside. The Liverpool band released their self titled debut album in August.

Kaiyah Mercedes – Seventeen

Kaiyah is based on the Mornington Peninsula, they’re a young queer, disabled singer-songwriter who moves between indie pop, folk and pop-rock. At just 20 Kaiyah has already put out two full length albums of material with more music on the way.

Helen Shanahan – My Hamartia

Local artist artist Helen Shanahan has shared this new track that stands at the intersection on country and blues. It’s the lead single from her forthcoming album Hamartia.
