Every Monday we take a look across the musical landscape and cast our eye over the freshest tracks and videos that have recently landed.
This week we check out new offerings from Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan, Grant Knoche, Blondie, Bash Croft, and Joe Mcelderry.
Olivia Rodrigo featuring Chappell Roan – Expectations
For this new version of her tune Expectations, Olvia Rodrigo has teamed up with Chappell Roan. Their video sees them recreating some classic game shows from Jeopardy to Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud.
Grant Knoche featuring Ella Collier – Friction
Grant Knoche has another new video just weeks after his last offering. Knoche displays his dance moves in a garage filled with sports cars.
Bash Croft – Good Light
We’ve been loving Sebastian ‘Bash’ Croft on Celebrity Traitors UK. The Heartstopper star has just put out audio for new tune Good Light.
Blondie – Spectral Eyes
Blondie have announced their twelfth album will be out in 2027 and it’s called High Noon. It’s been a decade since we last heard from Debbie Harry and her bandmates, and there now in their seventh decade of making music. The first taste Spectral Eyes was written by former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who plays guitar and adds backing vocals on the track that also features former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock.
Joe Mcelderry – Phantom of the Discotheque
British singer Joe Mcelderry has put out another disco-tinged tune, but this ones got the added elements of some rock guitars and moments of musical theatre.
