GALS Magical Mystery Tour

Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour! The Gay and Lesbian Singers have been working hard on our latest production ‘GALS Magical Mystery Tour’. This is a show to tempt and delight our audience with some magical and mysterious songs from diverse sources. Our singers will be performing under the fabulous direction of our musical director, Claire King, whose background is in opera but encompasses a variety of styles. This year we have chosen an array of pieces from musicals such as Sweeney Todd and Wicked and hits by some of the greats of musical history, such as the Beatles and timeless songs from the Jazz era. Something for every palette! As usual the members of the choir will be using their combined creative energies to set the scene and there will of course be some acts by various groupings of the choir including the Lovely Ladies and our favourite Drag King, Neville Posey, is tipped to be paying a surprise visit from his southern retreat.
