The volunteer extras are required from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Metro City and will feature in an opening scene. Extras will be part of the crowd on the dance floor, in the foyer, and seated at the VIP lounge and bars. The set will include live music, DJ and club lights.

As part of the experience, a selection of barista-made coffee or tea from a Perth Coffee Express mobile van will be provided for each volunteer extra, plus all participants will receive a screen credit.

”Was It Love?” is a short film that addresses the issues of shallow relationships present in society nowadays. The synopsis is as follows: A gathering between two close friends who have not seen each other for a while, but have always kept in touch. Eric’s shallow relationships with women have always been a flaw of his, and Daniel decides it’s time to tell Eric the honest truth of the matter by touching upon an old painful memory.

The completed short film will be posted online and submitted to local, national and international film festivals, including WA Screen Awards, Sundance Film Festival, AFI Fest (USA), Aspen Shorts Fest and London Short Film Festival.

If you would like to participate as a volunteer extra or have any questions, please contact Lan Nguyen.
