Instead the head of the First Church of our Lord Jesus Christ will be appearing by satellite link to speak to his followers gathering at the Perth Town Hall today.

Through his sermon’s which are broadcast on YouTube the religious leader has described rainbow families as been possessed by the devil, and argued that anyone who shows support for LGBTIQ people are also secretly gay. The religious leader often used gay slurs in his sermons and accuses same sex attracted people of being predators.

Jennings has also rallied against women saying they should not wear tight clothing, wear wigs or makeup because they tempt men. During a recent radio interview with the Kyle and Jackie O Show the pastor told host Jackie Henderson that she should not allow her young daughter to wear shorts.

In a video post Jennings described the decision to not grant him a visa as “a fight with the devil”, Jennings said his “Truth of God” broadcasts had been the inspiration for rugby player Israel Folau to make his posts condemning homosexuality.
