Ireland Experiences "Armagayddon" in Equal Marriage Ad

Irish LGBT advocacy group LGBT Noise have made an advert for marriage equality that depicts the ‘armagayddon’, an imagined apocalyptic future in which the passing of gay marriage legislation has “made Ireland unrecognisable”.

Ireland’s government recently called for a referendum on equal marriage in 2015, a decision that activists have reportedly been pushing for for some time.

The clip, set in 2017 cleverly reminds us that equal marriage isn’t as catastrophic as some may imagine. Check it out:
