Everything’s Gonna Be Okay was created by Thomas, who is set to write and star in the half-hour sitcom, the Hollywood Reporter have revealed.

The show will follow the story of 25-year-old Nicholas, his father and two half-sisters – one of whom lives with autism. When the father learns he is terminally ill, the kids have to rally together to get through.

The pilot has been ordered by Disney-owned Freeform Studios, and Avalon Distribution have committed to take the show global should the pilot succeed.
