PASH Off In WA
Researchers from the 2009 Pleasure and Sexual Health (PASH) study visited Perth last month, providing a WA-specific insight into sexual pleasure and risk for gay men. More than 2000 gay men were questioned across the country and found WA men were much like other Australian gay men. PASH researcher Ian Down, who visited Perth in February, said men in WA were much like other Australian men. The report found most men agreed with condoms but only half admitted to using them all the time. However, Down said it was important to acknowledge that most gay men continue to use condoms for anal sex most of the time.
