Northbridge History Project Update

The Northbridge History Studies Day 2008 was a smashing success with over 153 in attendance. John Hyde, MLA, opened the day, at which such luminaries as Dr Bobbie Oliver and Marcus Canning presented papers alongside internationally renowned documentary photographer Darren Clark, who presented images of a modern day Northbridge. Keep an eye out for the Northbridge History Project at the upcoming Pride Fairday where they will be conducting vox pops from community members. Research material on Northbridge is available online at www.northbridgehistory.wa.gov.au and community members are encouraged to get involved by providing photographs, documents and other memorabilia that will not only help future generations, but insure your place in history. Phone Tanya on 9222 9305 to find out how you can help the Northbridge History Project.
