Discover the hidden histories of inner city suburb of Northbridge from the varied perspective of a diverse array of speakers involved with the Northbridge History Project. Established in 2005 by Geoff Gallop, the project set out to record the area’s history and to ensure authentic ‘voices’ were preserved and shared with all Western Australians. One of the thirteen speakers on the day will be John Hyde, MLA, who will speak about using Northbridge’s history to revitalise Perth. Tickets are $30/$20.

The project also has a committee dedicated to preserving the gay and lesbian history of Northbridge, if you are interested in more info, email the project at history@dpc.wa.gov.au or phone 9222 9305.
