Opera singers in training? Let’s all think about that for a minute shall we? Then banish such thoughts entirely. The only reason for teary eyes at the WA Opera’s Peet Young Artist Series Concert will be the music of the great 19th century romantics tugging at the heartstrings. Carmen, Romeo et Juliet, Rigoletto and La Boheme are some of the treats in store to be delivered by the extraordinarily talented young artists including Baritone James Clayton and Covent Garden Scholarship Award Winner Soprano Katja Webb. This, the second concert in the series, follows their successful inaugural performance in March.
