Pink, pretty in PICA

Pink, pretty in PICAArtists Helen Britton, Jacob Ogden Smith, Helen Smith and former WSO arts writer Andrew Nicholls have collaborated in an exhibition of screen based works curated by Travis Kelleher, pink.

According to their press release ‘Highlighted in these works are ideologies and identities where the “real” and the “simulated” intersect in politically charged ways; the messy realities that hamper the purity of political dreams, the ugliness of the body beneath the desirable surface, and the failure inherent in desire and its objects.’
