Spring Flowers

Thank god, spring along with the much-missed sun peeked its head out last month. And this month, spring should be in full bloom. For one of Australia’s grandest flower shows, head to the nation’s capital. Canberra’s Floriade takes on the theme ‘Aussie icons, myths and legends’ in its month long showcase (September 15 – October 14) of over 1 million blooms. Entertainment and family-friendly activities will accompany the blossoms. Alternatively, catch spring fever without leaving the state at King’s Park and Botanic Gardens Wildflower Festival from September 1 – October 1.
