Stuff Said

Here are some of the statements that caught our eye.

“I was born in ’81. I had no idea about the whole AIDS epidemic. I’m straight, and playing a gay guy who’s leading a double life, who’s still in the closet, who’s losing his lovers, who has AIDS but won’t admit it to himself, who ends up dying … I mean, where do you want to start? Fuck me, dude. It’s insane.”

Australian actor Harry Cook announces he’s gay in a personal YouTube video.

“On the flip side of things, one of you supremely talented graphic artists should start a comic book series starring the Duck dudes as homosexual bears. Talk about crossover potential. The thing writes itself. At the next major gay pride event, there should be hard-bodied men in camo hot pants, ridiculous beards pasted to their chins, blowing through duck calls. ‘Dick Dynasty’ is a gay porn series just waiting to happen.”

In his column for L.A. Weekly Henry Rollins weighs in on the homophobic comments made by members of the cast of the reality show ‘Duck Dynasty’ encouraging the LGBT community to lampoon the series.

“Kiss well and passionately, and move like you mean it.”

Actor Gale Harold, who played Brian Kenney in ‘Queer as Folk’ gives his advice for straight actors taking on gay sex scenes.

“The world needs to survive so you can go on your very first date.”

Tom, the lead character in children’s television show ‘Wizards vs Aliens’. Said after his friend Benny reveals that he is gay.

“I’d put them all alive in the oven…it’s a living danger to my children.”
