Sufjan Stevens releases two new tunes for US Pride Month

Sufjan Stevens has released two new tunes in support of USA’s Pride Month, Love Yourself and With My Whole Heart.

The honey-voiced musician was nominated for both a Grammy and an Oscar for his song Mystery of Love, which appeared in Luca Guadagnino’s critically-acclaimed love story Call Me By Your Name.

This June, Stevens will release a limited-edition vinyl featuring new music, with proceeds going to support the Ali Forney Centre and the Ruth Ellis Centre to assist LGBTQ homeless in the United States.

Stevens said that With My Whole Heart was his attempt at creating an “upbeat and sincere love song without conflict, anxiety or self-deprecation.”
