Broadway’s smash hit musical written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez, opened at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre in January 2017.

The award winning show has broken box office records throughout its incredible tour across the country. Following the one year run at the Princess Theatre, The Book of Mormon transferred to the Sydney Lyric Theatre in February 2018 where it played for a further year. Then followed a three-month sold out Brisbane season, a record-breaking season at the Festival Theatre, Adelaide, and the show is now playing at Crown Theatre, Perth until 17 November.

The Book of Mormon will return to Brisbane from 3 January 2020 for six weeks only, before moving to the Civic Theatre, Auckland for a limited season from 6 March 2020.

Leading men Blake Bowden and Nyk Bielek spoke about their involvement in the show when they dropped by RTRFM’s Breakfast with Taylah earlier in the week and shared that they’d just marked one year of performing together.

Bowden said that even though they’ve done the show together hundreds of times they still try and make it better every single night.
