Amber MaxwellAmber Maxwell, a prominent activist in the LGBTIQ community passed away on Saturday, August 24th.

Amber was an outspoken advocate for equal marriage, transgender rights and openly shared her experiences of homelessness.

Ali Hogg from Equal Love commented on Amber’s passing.

“She was an inspiration to many young people.

“Amber shared her experiences of rejection ranging from family to accommodation experiences. She wasn’t shy to speak out.”
