Star Wars: A New Hope – In Concert will include the original film on the giant screen with John Williams’ epic score played live by the orchestra.

Williams score, which was composed for the original 1977 movie, is one of the most acclaimed film scores with The American Film Institute naming it the best film score of all time. It’s also been added to the US Library of Congress.

After creating the opus for the original film, Williams went on to create the scores for all the sequels, and he’ll also create the soundtracks for the upcoming film The Last Jedi.

The shows are sure to be popular and three performances are planned. Two evening shows at 7:30pm on Friday 28 September 2018 and Saturday 29 September 2018. Plus there will be a matinee on Saturday 29 September 2018 at 1.30pm.

We hope the conductor has a light-saber and a Wookie is in the percussion section.

The perfromances will be on at the Riverside Theatre and the Perth Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Tickets on sale 9am Wednesday 30 August 2017 from Ticketek or call 1300 795 012
