Globally renowned pop group Westlife have announced the Australia and New Zealand leg of their monumental Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, alongside today’s release of their highly anticipated forthcoming album 25 – The Ultimate Collection.
“We can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we last toured in Australia and New Zealand, so it only felt right that we should come back and celebrate our 25th Anniversary together.
“We have always loved coming back to this part of the world as the fans have always made our trips so memorable and special – you have the loudest fans in the world! The 25th Anniversary show will be our most exciting and ambitious to date and of course, we will be performing all of the hits. Australia and New Zealand – we cannot wait to see you!” the band said announcing the tour.
The tour begins at Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday, 16 July. It continues at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 18 July, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 21 July, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Friday, 23 July, and finishes up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Monday, 26 July.
The trio will then head to New Zealand for shows in Auckland and Christchurch.
The world tour will begin in Dublin this September, where the band have booked an impressive 13 night appointment in their home town, before heading to the UK for an additional 29 shows. They’ll then head to France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, The Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland.

The band first had chart success in the year 2000. At the start of their career Westlife were a five-piece, but original member Brian McFadden departed in 2004.
The group disbanded in 2012 but the remaining four members reunited in 2018. In 2024 Mark Feehily stepped away from live shows due to ill health, leaving Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne to tour as a trio.
Over the last 25 years the band have put out twelve studio albums, but they are best remembered for their early hits including Swear It Again, If I Let You Go, Flying Without Wings, Fool Again and their cover of the 70s tune Seasons in the Sun.
