Natalie Imbruglia – Glorious: The Singles 97 to 07 – Sony BMG

If you are anything like me, when you heard that Natalie Imbruglia was releasing a greatest hits album, you flashed back to high school when Torn played on the radio and everyone rolled down the windows and sang along. And perhaps, like me, you had something of a premature midlife crisis when you realized that Natty Bru-Bru, as I so affectionately called her then, has now been around for 10 years. While she has never matched the mass pop appeal of Torn (sigh), she has nevertheless put together enough catchy pop tunes to justify a greatest hits collection, though it may take a few attempts before you can bring yourself to take Torn off repeat. –Megan Smith
