We received an email today from a friend of Leslie’s explaining that ze has taken ill with severe pain and is likely to need to go to hospital.

As a result the opening night of the conference, Thursday 25 October is cancelled.

We are so sorry about any inconvenience this causes. We will refund the cost of the keynote address ($25) to all registered participants. If you are happy for us to directly deposit your refund please email your BSB and Account number to Clare at lgbti@unionswa.com.au. If you require your refund by cheque let us know – but please note this may take a bit longer. Cash refunds are also possible – please call Clare on 0403 456 131 to arrange.

The Friday section of the conference will go ahead with the same exciting workshops, discussions and networking.

Once again please accept our apologies.

Yours in unity,

UnionsWA LGBTI Committee

PS. If you are now left, like us, with nothing to do on Thursday night, please join us for a drink at the Court from 6pm anyway.
