Enter Revelation Perth International Film Festival’s ‘Life in Pictures’ competition

Entries are now open for the Life in Pictures short filmmaking competition which is part of the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.

A true grass roots up initiative, Life in Pictures is a unique approach to opening discussions around positive ageing in the community. All members of the community are invited to make a three-minute short film that explores positive ageing in the community or the topic of ageism.

Five films from each category will be shortlisted and screened on the closing night of the Revelation Film Festival on 19 July. The evening includes the announcement of the category winners who’ll receive a $1,000 cash prize. The screening will be followed by the festival’s famous closing night party.

The festival is also hosting a 90 minute workshop on Thursday 23 April from 2pm-3:30pm at the Mary Davies Library & Community Centre in Baldivis, to provide  filmmaking tips and tricks for success in the competition.
