Netflix has shared the trailer for the upcoming Kylie Minogue documentary series that will capture her decades long career as a singer and actor.
To create the three-part series director Michael Harte was given access to hundred of hours of never-before-seen films from the Minogue family.
The trailer shows Kylie getting her start as a young actor in Australia, her big break on Neighbours, her relationship with INXS front man Michael Hutchence, her breast cancer treatment and her close family bonds. It promises to feature all the twists and turns of Kylie’s life and career plus a whiole lot of spinning around.
The series will arrive on 20 May, the trailer ends with Minogue recreating the streamers iconic ‘tudum’ sound.
Directed by Emmy and BAFTA Award winner Michael Harte (Three Identical Strangers, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, BECKHAM) and produced by John Battsek’s Ventureland — the multi-award-winning team behind The Deepest Breath,WHAM!,and BECKHAM — KYLIE features insights from friends, family, and collaborators including Dannii Minogue, Jason Donovan, Nick Cave, and Pete Waterman.
Since releasing her first single in Australia in 1987 Minogue has gone on to be a chart topper for four decades.
