Adam Lambert announces new album is on the way

The new record will feature artwork by renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight and will include 12 diverse new songs.

The first taste of the album comes with single Eat U Alive, which arrived today and it introduces listeners to a dark industrial electronic sound which will be at the forefront of the Lambert’s newest work.

Eat U Alive is the perfect primer into my next musical chapter,” Lambert said. “I wanted to create songs that fit into a world reminiscent of the music that made a formative impact on me in the 90s and early 00’s. Nine Inch Nails, Björk, Prince, Muse, Goldfrapp, Daft Punk, George Michael, Massive Attack and the Crystal Method are just a few who inspired the sound.

“The album explores both the light and shade of life and the razor’s edge that separates a positive experience from a negative one. I hope these songs connect with anyone who has been through the confusing but necessary process of self-acceptance.

“There was a real liberation in acknowledging my own weaknesses and strengths. Accepting the bad and the good all together. Revolutionary for someone who always thought of himself as a perfectionist and Idealist.”

Adam Lambert’s new album ADAM will be released in July.

Since first finding success as a contestant on American Idol Lambert has had a career that crosses boundaries.

He’s taken on the role of front man for legendary band Queen, served as a judge on The Voice – Australia, and dived into musical theatre with a Broadway role in Cabaret.

Lambert’s most recent album was 2023’s High Drama which saw him covering songs by Bonnie Tyler, Sia, Duran Duran, Culture Club and many others. In 2024 he released an EP of electronic tinged material titled Afters.
