Are you an emerging filmmaker with a story to tell? Two funding opportunities are now open for Australian creatives.
The first is an $8,500 grant for new filmmakers, while the second delivers $60,000 for a short film project.

City of Vincent Film Project 2027
Receive $8,500 to produce a short documentary through the City of Vincent Film Project, presented in conjunction with the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.
Each year, the initiative gives three teams of new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to receive $8,500 in cash funding, plus $1,000 worth of in-kind equipment hire from Raz Studios, to produce a non-fiction film set in and around the City of Vincent.
Recipients are mentored throughout the entire process, culminating in a screening at the closing night of the Revelation Film Festival. In 2027, that event will take place on Sunday 17 July at Luna Cinema in Leederville.
Many films produced through the initiative have gone on to screen locally, nationally and internationally, including at CinefestOZ, WA Made, the Melbourne International Film Festival and the St Kilda Film Festival, among others. Collectively, City of Vincent Film Project productions have screened at more than 200 film festivals worldwide and won more than 50 awards.
