Poppin Out returns for Adelaide Pride 2026 with Hannah Conda and many more

Adelaide’s annual Pride celebrations are set to get even bigger this year, with Mary’s Poppin transforming a city laneway into a vibrant open-air party as Poppin Out returns on Saturday, 7 November.

Held immediately after the Adelaide Pride March, the popular event will once again take over Synagogue Place, turning the street into a colourful celebration of drag, music and queer community.

Running from 5pm to 11pm, the street party will then continue inside Mary’s Poppin until the early hours, creating what organisers describe as a full day-to-night Pride experience.

This year’s event boasts its largest lineup yet, featuring 32 performers from Adelaide and across Australia. Among those appearing are RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under stars Hannah Conda, Kween Kong, Coco Jumbo, Minty Hydrangea and Beverly Kills, alongside a host of local favourites and emerging talent.

Perth drag stars Bebe Babow and Fay Rocious will also head to South Australia for the event.

Mary’s Poppin owner and founder Stephen Craddock said Poppin Out was created to give Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ community a celebration it could proudly call its own.

“Poppin Out is Mary’s turned all the way up,” Craddock said.

“We take everything people love about the club, the drag, the music, the freedom and the community, and spill it out onto the street. Seeing Synagogue Place packed with people celebrating exactly who they are is incredibly special.”

He said this year’s expanded lineup offered plenty of reasons for revellers to arrive early and stay late.

Club manager Lily Jaksic said the event had grown into one of the venue’s most anticipated nights of the year.

“There’s a moment when the street fills, the lights come on and the first performance hits that you realise just how big Poppin Out has become,” she said.

“It only happens once a year and there is nothing else quite like it.”

Mary’s resident diva Kane Enable said the excitement generated by the Pride March flows directly into the evening festivities.

“You arrive with the whole city buzzing from Pride, then suddenly Synagogue Place is a sea of people, music and drag,” Enable said.

“The looks are bigger, the performances are wilder and the crowd gives everything back. Poppin Out is our chance to be loud, take up space and put on the kind of show people talk about all year.”

Organisers expect hundreds of people to descend on Synagogue Place for the one-night-only event, which will feature back-to-back drag performances, DJs and entertainment throughout the evening.

Tickets to the event are on sale now.
