RuPaul’s Drag Race Lipsync Live locks in 2027 tour

Some of the biggest names in drag will tour Australia in March 2027 with RuPaul’s Drag Race Lipsync Live, a show promising high heels, high production values and high energy.

The lineup includes homegrown star Hannah Conda, Lydia B Kollins, Alyssa Edwards, Shea Couleé, Marina Summers, Kween Kong, Denali, Silky Nutmeg Ganache and a mystery performer whose identity is being kept secret.

The show, featuring eight of the franchise’s fiercest lip-sync performers plus the mystery guest yet to be revealed, will visit Melbourne, Adelaide, Albury, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane during March 2027.

“We didn’t want a greatest-hits tribute. We wanted the assassins themselves, on one stage, doing what they do better than anyone on earth,” said Stephen Craddock, Founder and Director of ITDEVENTS.

“It’s fast, it’s loud and it’s spectacular. It’s a fully seated theatre tour for all ages, so stand up or sit down, there will be moments for everyone.”

There are currently no announced dates for Western Australia, meaning Perth fans will need to travel interstate to attend the tour.

The last time performers from the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise appeared in Perth, controversy emerged after Kween Kong alleged racist treatment by staff at The Astor Theatre and stated they would not perform at the venue again. The allegations were strongly denied by the theatre.

OUTinPerth asked promoter ITDEVENTS and its publicist whether Perth’s absence from the tour schedule was related to venue availability or other factors, including the previously reported dispute, but did not receive a response before publication.

Tickets are on sale now via ITDEVENTS.

Tour Dates

  • Melbourne, Town Hall – 12 March 2027
  • Adelaide, Norwood Concert Hall – 13 March
  • Albury, Entertainment Centre – 17 March 2027
  • Hobart, Odeon Theatre – 19 March 2027
  • Sydney, Town Hall – 20 March 2027
  • Brisbane, City Hall – 21 March 2027

OUTinPerth was unable to independently verify the allegations made by the performer. The allegations are disputed by The Astor Theatre, which denies any racist conduct by its staff or management.
