A California-based surrogacy agency, Growing Generations, will assist HIV+ men in becoming biological fathers, following the passage of state legislation legalizing the use of semen from HIV+ men in assisted reproduction. According to Growing Generations, with a thorough screening and preparation process semen from men with HIV can be made free of traces of the virus and safe for reproduction.
