Eye in the Sky

If you have been through the Perth Cultural Centre recently you would have undoubtedly seen the incredibly large scale Earth From Above Photography Exhibition. Seriously, on your traipse from Connections to The Court, you can’t miss it. Particularly since it features 120 large scale aerial photographs by award-winning French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. It’s the result of a very ambitious project Arthus-Bertrand undertook earlier this century in an attempt to document the stat of the planet. The result? Breathtaking, especially when you incorporate the thought-provoking dialogue concerning sustainable development which accompanies each photograph. Find out for yourself – it runs until January 21. www.earthfromabove.com.au
