Scene Guide: Pridefest Day 5

Today

The Court Hotel’s annual drag wannabe competition Queen of the Court kicks off tonight. It’s Wicked Wednesdays too – it’s all about the pizzas. Across at Connections Nightclub it’s Lesbian Mud Wrestling! At the Honey Lounge in Leederville it’s Plush – Pride WA’s girls get together.

The Blue Room Theatre has the plays Tinkertown and Warrior and the Princess. If you’ve never been to this independent theatre that supports emerging talents, you’ve missed out.

Looking Ahead

Paul Capsis is at the Art Gallery of WA’s Artbar tomorrow night.

The very hot DJ Dan Slater is heading to Connections Nightclub on Saturday night.

The City of Vincent are throwing a youth event during Pridefest. The Pridefest Laneway Event will take place next to The Daily Planet Cafe in Mount Lawley and feature live music from local talents. It’s for people aged 13-25 and it’s free. Sunday October 21 4-7pm.

The OUTinPerth photo exhibition Take a Look at Yourself opens at Chrissie Parrott Arts, 4 Sussex Street Maylands on Sunday. Check out the amazing images we’ve pulled out of our archive – many of them have never been published. Open on Sunday from 12pm – 4pm.
