The Premier Visits The Court Hotel

Premier Colin Barnett visited The Court Hotel earlier this evening to lend his support to the election campaign of Liberal candidate Eleni Evangel.  The City of Perth Councillor is running for the inner city seat of Perth which is currently held by Labor’s John Hyde.

Speaking to a group of invited guests from the LGBT community Mr Barnett expressed his support for Ms Evangel describing her as enthusiastic and saying it was time the electorate of Perth had a new member.

To win ththe seat of Perth Ms Evangel needs a swing of 7%. The seat was last held by the Liberals in 1968.
