Get Frocked!

Whether we went solo, dragged along a platonic friend (most likely also queer) or avoided it all together, the high school prom often remains an angst-filled memory for many gays and lesbians.
But thanks to The Court Hotel we now get the chance to have our very own, very queer prom!
On Sunday, April 26, the beer garden will be transformed into the funkiest school hall ever seen, complete with live band- Time Out (formerly known as the New Romantics).
Finger food will be served and happy couples will be able to remember the special night by having their prom photos taken at the special photo booth.
With a fairytale theme thrown in for good measure, dress-up options are limitless and there will be prizes for the Prom King and Queen on the night.
Court owner, Bree Maddox says staff came up with the idea as most couldn’t take their real, same-sex partner to their own proms.
With any luck you may just catch Bree on the night in her original 90’s, year 11 formal dress… which still fits perfectly!
Tickets are available presale at The Court or on the night
