Great Debate for GRAI

The Great Gay & Lesbian Debate returns again for this year’s Pride Festival and, if last year’s event was anything to go by, promises another hilarious night of entertainment.

This year’s star studded line-up of debaters will feature Perth MLA John Hyde, Greens MLC Giz Watson, GLCS Chair Mark Woodman, former Pride patron Aram Hosie and former Pride Co-President Sue Fisher-Hendry, who last year stole the show wish a surprise musical performance. The debate will be hosted by RTRFM’s Danae Gibson and will be exploring the topic Straight is the New Gay.

The great Gay & Lesbian Debate will be staged on Wednesday 28th October, commencing at 7pm. The debate will be staged at the Burlesque Lounge, Upstairs, 267 William Street Northbridge. Tickets will be available on the door for $16 (student / concession) and $20 for everybody else. A licensed bar will be open both before and after the event and a raffle will be doing the rounds with great prizes.

The Great Gay & Lesbian Debate is being staged by GAYinWA Events and will raise funds for the GLBTI Retirement Association (GRAI).
