This week DADDA WA is presenting the exhibition Transforming Pixels.

An amazing photographic exhibition, blog and video was created by Melly Niotakis (Nio Media), Lenine Bourke (Contact Inc) and 12 Brisbane based trans and gender diverse people interested in photography back in 2011.

This work has been touring the country and this week is here in Perth.
Evie Ryder and Karen Batten are also here to host a Forum and Workshop. The forum is on Thursday 5 September from 4pm – 6pm. This forum will provide an opportunity for people to find out more info about the project, the artists involved and discuss bigger issues of art and gender. On Sunday 8 September from 11am – 4pm there will be q a workshop focused on photography and story telling. BYO cameras or phones, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry the team have lots of spares.
