A Good Year for Pride

2013.11.02 - Pride Parade-69WMPride WA reported a successful year at their recent Annual General Meeting. The organisation has delivered a strong financial result after a year of major changes. Pride has also begun a long awaited strategic review of the organisation.

An early indication of the results from the Strategic Review process was presented by Kalico Consulting with the full details of the review to be released over the coming months.  It was clear Fairday remains the most popular event in Pride’s calendar with the Parade a close second.

Co-President Michelle Rigg said 2014 is an exciting year for Pride being the 25th Anniversary of the Parade.

Although not all the Committee positions were filled on the night of the AGM, Miss Rigg said the Committee is talking with several people who are keen to join the Committee however for various reasons were unable to submit their nomination on time.  Miss Rigg said the remaining positions should be filled before the end of the month.

The incoming Committee members are Michelle Rigg, Daniel Smith, Graham Lovelock, Amy Henderson, Colin McDonald, Marcus Remta, Karron Swinn and Andrew Barker.
