Disney Poetry Challenge at OUTspoken

DSC_0341WEBPerth’s coolest underground event ‘OUTspoken’ is setting an extra challenge for it’s next gathering.

The queer poetry night has challenged it’s poets to include a ‘Disney’ word in their poems at their next meeting on Thursday April 24th.

The fortnightly event sees aspiring poets sharing their latest writing in a friendly and supportive environment at the Sparrow’s Nest on Albany Highway in Victoria Park.

So if you’ve got a poem that drops in a phrase about ‘The Lion King’, or a creative use of the word Mickey, or maybe a subtle reference to ‘Lady and the Tramp’, head down and read out your poem.
