“I’m so excited to be coming to Australia. This will be my first time performing on the Australian stage and I’m delighted to bring Noël Coward’s eccentric and wickedly fun Judith Bliss to Australian audiences in Hay Fever,” Kendal said.

Kendal is known for her work in television’s ‘The Good Life’, ‘Rosemary and Thyme’ and has also had success onstage in ‘Relatively Speaking’, ‘Happy Days’ and another Noel Coward play, ‘Fallen Angels’.

Kendal is set to play Judith Bliss, former actress and matriarch of a delightfully dysfunctional family. She decides to invite a young man to join her in the country, but her hopes for flirtation are dashed when her husband and two children decide to bring their own guests.

The play opens November 13th, tickets go on sale this Wednesday and will be available from Ticketek.
