Lior Celebrates with National Tour

LiorSinger songwriter Lior is celebrating the 10 year anniversary of his acclaimed debut album “Autumn Flow” with national tour and re-release of the album.

On his national theatre tour Lior will perform the album in its entirety from start to finish, as well as selected favourites from his back catalogue.

Lior burst on to the Australian music scene in 2005 with “Autumn Flow”. Recorded and released entirely independently, and spearheaded by the much loved opening track “This Old Love”. Subsequent singles “Daniel” and the title track “Autumn Flow” were also big hits.

Joining Lior on stage  will be some of Australia’s most talented and respected musicians, including Brett Hirst who originally played on “Autumn Flow” and who has been a live main-stay in Lior’s band ever since. Evan Mannell who has played with Faker, James Morrison, King Curly and Elana Stone will be on drumming duties alongside Sydney based percussionist, drummer and composer Bree Van Reyk (Sydney Dance Company, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sarah Blasko and Darren Hanlon ).

The highly regarded Melbourne musician Ben Edgar will be on guitar duties, a man of many genres who has performed with the likes of Missy Higgins, Megan Washington, Vika and Linda Bull and Gurrumul. Rounding out the world class band is Newcastle native Gerard Masters on piano, a long-time friend and cohort of Lior’s.
