Singer Toni Braxton will kick off her first ever Australian tour in Perth this September.
Announcing the tour the multi-platinum selling singer said it’s taken her long time to head down under.
“I know it’s taken a while for me to get to Australia, but I promise it’s going to be well worth the wait! I can’t wait to give all of my wonderful fans a very special and unforgettable night.” Braxton said in a statement announcing the tour.
Braxton has seven Grammy Awards and has sold over 66 million records during her career. Recently she’s featured in a reality TV show about her family ‘Braxton Family Values’.
Braxton’s career kicked off in 1992 when she performed two songs on the soundtrack to the Eddie Murphy movie ‘Boomerang’. Soon after her debut album spawned a stack of hits including ‘Another Sad Love Song’ and ‘Breathe Again’. Her biggest hit ‘Un-break My Heart’ was released in 1996 and spent a massive eleven weeks at the top of the Billboard charts in the USA.
Last year Braxton released her seventh album, a collaboration with Babyface, called ‘Love, Marriage and Divorce’.
