TKAY

Fresh out of Splendour in the Grass, Adelaide rapper T’kay Maidza has just released the video for her killer tune ‘M.O.B’ along with dates for a full Australian tour this year.

The ‘M.O.B.’ video is Maidza’s second collaboration with animation studio Adult Swim, and it is oozing with Cartoon Network’s hallmark style.

The video follows a cartoon T’kay, hurtling through space on a technicolour adventure. She faces asteroids, aliens and adversaries as she tries to stay focused on her destination.

Maidza kicks off from Canberra in September, performing 11 shows across the country with a little help from her friends Willow Beats, Porches and L.K. McKay.

T’kay Maidza will be at HQ Leederville (U18 show) and later at Capitol (18+) on Sat 19 September. Tickets available from Monday August 3rd at tkaymaidza.com
