Why don't we accept people as asexual?

Three months ago video blogger Damo made a video declaring that he was asexual. The clip got a lot of attention and for many people it was there first experience of someone talking about asexuality.

Now the vlogger as provided an update on how people have reacted to his announcement, it makes interesting viewing.
