Mientus is best known to Australian audiences through his role as Kyle Bishop in the second series of musical TV show ‘Smash’. He’s also had great success on Broadway appearing ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Carrie’.

He appeared in the revival of ‘Spring Awakening’ which was directed by Arden. As well as being an in-demand director, Arden has also ‘trod the boards’ in ‘Big River’ and ‘The Times They Are-a-Changin’.

The couple reportedly got married at Babington House in Somerset, England. Mientus and Arden became engaged in 2014, each of them planned a surprise engagement proposal without the other knowing. Amazingly they both unleashed their plans on the same day – talk about being in sync!
