Margaret Court made an appearance at The Court Hotel’s ‘Love All’ party on Saturday night.

The former Tennis great turned religious leader was portrayed by drag star Scarlet Adams who was joined on stage by racket wielding friend Alexis Armstrong.

Performing to a cleverly edited series of quotes from the outspoken former Grand Slam champ, the two drag stars volleyed lines about lesbians and marriage equality back and forth across the stage. The duo then launched into a energetic performance of Katy Perry’s tune ‘I Kissed a Girl (and I liked it).

The tennis themed party was held in response to a series of comments recently made by Margaret Court including her claims that professional tennis has been overtaken by lesbians and assertions that transgender children were the work of the devil.

My Kitchen Rules star Jordan Bruno and actress Dani Alexis from TV’s Wentworth also spoke at the party. Patrons were given the opportunity to sign an open letter to Reverend Court.
