Sesame Street shows support for rainbow families

Iconic children’s program Sesame Street has show it’s support for rainbow families during the USA’s Pride month.

The show tweeted an image of Sesame Street resident Elmo alongside some other colourful monster characters and voiced their support for Pride.

“Sesame Street is proud to support families of all shapes, sizes, and colors.” the message read alongside a love heart emoji.

Fans have expressed their love for the show’s inclusive approach.
