AHS: Cult – New season of American Horror Story revealed

After months of anticipation, Ryan Murphy and FX have revealed this year’s theme for the American Horror Story anthology series.

In a typically creepy trailer, this year’s title has been revealed to be ‘Cult’, with reports that it will be loosely based on the 2016 US Presidential Election.

Creator Murphy also revealed on his Instagram account that Season 4 villain Twisty The Clown will be reappearing – which ties in with the masses of clowns that appear in the teaser for the upcoming seventh season.

American Horror Story: Cult will premiere Tuesday September 5th starring Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Colton Haynes and the series’ latest addition, Lena Dunham.
