Elk Bell (Tenille Elkins) released her debut full length album Superfragilistic in September 2011, a release that found its way to feature album status on RTRfm in Perth, WA and into the CMJ Top 200 charts in the US.

This new offering will be launched alongside local legend Hugh Jennings (Autopilot, End of Fashion) who will be presenting his own brand new solo album. Support on the night comes from The Belle Ends.

Strongly influenced over many years by local indie alternative folk/popsters like Kate Andrews, Loo’weeze de’Ath, Benedict Moleta, Felicity Groom, Rabbit Island and Lucy Peach to further afield artists such as Kings of Convenience, Mazzy Star, Sharon Van Etten, Cat Power, Agnes Obel and Low Roar, Elk Bell has her own distinctive and pleasant sound.

For her album launch set Elk Bell will also have a interpreter from the WA Deaf Society to make the show hearing impaired friendly.

The dual album launch is on Friday 29 September at Fly by Night at Victoria Hall in Fremantle.
