Comedian Alan Carr marries his partner Paul Drayton

Comedian Alan Carr has married Paul Drayton, his partner of more than a decade. The couple tied the knot in Los Angeles last week in front of a tiny group of friends and have been enjoying a honeymoon in Mexico.

The Chatty Man host became engaged to his boyfriend back in 2016 when Drayton slipped a ring into his desert while the couple were on holiday in Lombok, Indonesia.

The wedding reportedly only had fur guests in attendance, previously Carr had joked that good friend Adele was more than welcome to attend, so he could have a good wedding singer. There’s no word on whether she was one of the select number of guests in attendance.

The newly married couple posted a picture of the peeking out of a beach tent to Carr’s Instagram page.

“After 10 days of tacos and tequila this sadly is the only thing that fits me. Diet starts manana!” Carr declared.

OUTinPerth has a long conversation with Alan Carr back in 2016, listen in on our interview.
