Troye Sivan’s My My My has been a huge hit around the world and hes just released a new video which sees him deliver the song in an acoustic mode.
The singer has recently spoken about the inspiration for the song and it’s sexuality charged music video, saying he just wants young LGBT people to be authentic to themselves.
“The thing that was most important for me was that it was communicating a young gay person enjoying themselves. Letting them be exactly how they want to be.”
“I want to make people feel as comfortable as they possibly can be within themselves. That’s been a process for me. The more that I can do it for myself and share that with the world, the better.” Sivan said in a recent interview with The Sunday Telegraph.
The new version of the song strips away all it’s beats reveals a different take on the tune. The tune was written in Stockholm with longtime collaborator Leland, and co-writers Oscar Görres and ames Alan Ghaleb.
