On her new record the singer, who is originally from Perth, takes on a number of disco classics including the big hits of Dianna Ross, The Bee Gees, Sister Sledge and ABBA.

The first single off the album is Best of My Love originally recorded by Emotions, the song was written by members of disco funk group Earth, Wind and Fire. The song was also sampled by Mariah Carey for her mega-hit Emotions.

Best of My Love is certainly a quintessential disco tune, both Sheena Easton and Marcia Hines also include the song on their disco collections.

Also on the record Jade covers ABBA’s Dancing Queen, The Jackson’s Never Can Say Goodbye, The Bee Gee’s How Deep is Your Love, Diana Ross’ I’m Coming Out  and Upside Down, Donna Summer’s I Feel Love and Hot Stuff , Cher’s Take Me Home, Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive and Sister Sledge’s We are Family.

The album also has two new tracks from Samantha Jade that are in a disco style.
